During the summer when everyone is trying their best to keep summer’s hot breath outdoors, there is a source of heat invasion that is frequently overlooked. That’s the heat that is transferred into the building from trucks and trailers at loading and receiving docks. Trucks and trailers, being loaded or unloaded, temporarily becomes part of the building and are essentially an uninsulated metal solar oven resulting in a significant source of heat that is ultimately "unloaded" into the building. Fans, normally used to help shipping and receiving personnel combat this problem inside the truck or trailer, only exacerbate this problem in the facility. It has been estimated that on a warm summer day, when an empty trailer’s doors is opened, some 18,000 BTUs will initially be "dumped" into the building....

....Sprinkool Systems Int’l., Inc.’s, TrucKool misting system will cool and improve the working environment within the vehicles, increase the dock attendants' productivity, virtually eliminate (5 - 10 Tons of the A/C cooling capacity per trailer) the unwanted heat from entering the building and reduce the cooling load imposed on the building’s a/c equipment. Tests have shown that the evaporation of 15 gallons of water an hour misted intermittently onto a 40 foot long trailer can decrease the temperature of the interior 20 to 25ºF at a cost of less than 3 cents per hour!

The TrucKoolSystem will decrease temperatures resulting in:

þ Increased Worker Productivity

þ Reduced Worker Fatigue
þ Diminished Danger of Heat Stroke
þ Reduced Facility Cooling Costs
